Slavic Art folk rugs for bedroom aesthetic Easter Hen Handmade Quilt Birds Tapestry from Poland Traditional Tablecloth Loom Reel Wool Symbol

199,00 $ inc. VAT

This Eastern European, double sided Kilim Rug / Wall Hanging Rug or tablecloth with Slavic Symbols of Fire and Love was handmade in a village in Podlasie, Poland.

This spectacular green-white piece just screams Spring Slavic Traditions with it’s green-white hens and Slavic Protective symbols. Apart from that, it is just a 50+ years old, handmade work of art in perfect condition.

Women did this sort of things often as a dowry, which would be then put securely in a chest. This way suprisingly many remained unused for decades – until now.
