1969 Bozena Nemcova Pohadky Czech Children Book Czechia Folk Tales bohemia Fairytales for Kids illustrated Gift Antique Artus scheiner

A classic Czech Children Book with fairytales written by one of the most famous Czech Novelist Bozena Nemcova with simply stunning illustrations by Vaclav Karel and generally beautiful print and formatting. Nowadays books like this are not made anymore and they will not be made ever again like that, simply because never again there will be an economic scenario where a publishing house will pay a renowned painter to sit and paint pictures for a children book for a year. That is why nowadays children illustrations are just blobs and triangles, which you can do in 2 days. Think about that:)
